How to Get Vivid Vision

Vivid Vision is used under the care of an eye care provider alongside traditional treatments such as eye patching and vision therapy.

Find a provider who prescribes Vivid Vision by filling out the form above. If there is not one in your area, we will notify you as soon as there is. If you would like your optometrist to provide Vivid Vision for you, a link to download and print our Doctor Information Kit will be provided after you sign up.
Book an appointment with the provider of your choice. Whether you are using Vivid Vision in the clinic or at home, you must be evaluated by an eye care provider in order to get a prescription.
Get evaluated by your provider to see if you or your child is a good match for Vivid Vision. If you are, that doctor can recommend Vivid Vision Clinical for in-office treatment, Vivid Vision Home for at-home exercises, or (most commonly) a combination of both.
Begin your treatment with Vivid Vision, the world's most advanced binocular vision treatment. If you are using it in the clinic, you will typically go in one to two times a week for treatment. If using it at home, your doctor will provide instructions on which hardware to get and how to use it.

Q: Is Vivid Vision right for me?

Vivid Vision does not provide medical advice. Only a trained eye care professional like an optometrist or ophthalmologist can tell you if Vivid Vision is right for you. In order to tell if you are a match, your eye care provider will look at your diagnosis, your treatment history, and do a full binocular vision exam as well as try traditional treatments first.

Important Information

Vivid Vision is intended to measure strabismus (eye muscle imbalance), to assess binocular vision (use of both eyes to see), and to treat suppression and amblyopia (dimness of vision without any apparent disease of the eye). It requires direct supervision from a licensed eye care professional and is typically used in conjunction with other treatments and eye exercises.

Q: Is Vivid Vision approved by the FDA?

Vivid Vision is a class I medical device that is registered with the US FDA and bears the CE mark.

Vivid Vision is a computer-based application with data tracking and analysis tools. The device is intended to identify strabismus (eye muscle imbalance), to assess binocular vision (use of both eyes to see), to treat suppression and amblyopia (dimness of vision without any apparent disease of the eye), and to treat problems of vergence (inability to direct the two eyes at the same location). Vivid Vision Home is a web-based application for binocular vision that is available to patients through a licensed eye care provider.

Q: What ages does it work for?

Vivid Vision providers have seen good results with patients as young as five years old up to adults into their sixties and seventies. The activites are designed for people of all ages to enjoy.

Q: What if there are no providers near me?

If you signed up using the form above we will let you know when there is a provider near you. More and more clinics are getting set up with Vivid Vision every month. If you'd like a clinic near you to become a Vivid Vision provider, please follow this link to download and print a packet of information to provide to them.

Q: Should I use Vivid Vision Home or Clinical?

It depends on what visual disorders you have. Only a trained eye care professional like an optometrist or ophthalmologist can tell you whether or not Vivid Vision Home or Vivid Vision Clinical is the right choice for you. Vivid Vision Clinical is a more powerful system that is capable of treating a larger range of binocular vision conditions than Vivid Vision Home is. Many doctors will begin treatment with in-office sessions and over time add in Home sessions when you no longer need to come into the clinic as often. Many doctors will prescribe Home straight away for certain cases.

Q: What are the costs?

Cost will vary depending on geographic location, providers experience, severity of condition, and treatment plan. Ask your doctor to get an exact price for your treatment.

Q: What hardware do you support for Vivid Vision Home?

Vivid Vision Home currently works with the Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, the HTC Vive, and the DPVR P1 Pro.

You can visit our supported hardware page for a full list of supported VR Headsets.

Fill out the form above to find a doctor and get evaluated.

After finding a provider you can start using Vivid Vision!

I just hope that more people try your software because it's amazing. Before Vivid Vision I've done the Brock string for 100 plus hours and I've done so much therapy at home doing different things and honestly the change is so quick. All of a sudden, it's like bam, I'm seeing 3D.
