Our Software Application

Clinics using Vivid Vision may be asked to provide name, email address, physical address, and payment information. In addition, clinics will create a unique username that is associated with a date of birth and information about the presence or absence of amblyopia and strabismus for a patient using Vivid Vision. Vivid Vision collects device ID and IP address for all personal computers (PCs) and mobile devices that use the software application.

For clinic notification (when a Vivid Vision clinic is available in your area) we will hold your contact information for 7 years. For contracted services, we will hold your data for 7 years in line with our own policies, business, and legal requirements. Inactive prescribable software user accounts will have contact information removed after 90 days of inactivity.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
